Four Carbon Fiber Snap Rods come out from each binding area. This adds to the snap of the board for ollies. The rods also help with stomping landings. The board is a bit stiffer in front and behind each binding which helps keep the rider from leaning too far forward or backwards while landing airs.For the 2006 Origin, Unity added light weight tri-axial fiberglass that reduced the board weight by 1/4 pound. Also, they added two kevlar stringers on the bottom of the core, along with the carbon fiber snap rods on top of the core. This makes the 2006 Unity Origin more light weight and responsive. | |
